Powder Coating Prices

Powder coating prices are quoted on a case by case basis. We will discuss a few of the factors we use to determine the cost of powder coating.

Size: Obviously, the larger the object, the more work there is that needs to be done.

Preparation: All metal must be exposed and clean. There can be no dust or grease or even fingerprints on the metal when it is powder coated.

Sandblasting: All objects must be taken down to the bare metal before it can be powder coated. Old paint, rust, oxidization can all be removed with sand blasting.

The condition of the original piece: Powder coating can make an old metal object look like new, but the amount of work that goes into preparation will affect the price.

Preparation is 90% of the effort that goes into your powdercoating job.
